On March 28, 2022, The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) officers participated in the culmination program for the celebration of Women’s Month 2022 organized by the Office of Civil Defense Davao Region at Barangay Gumalang, Davao City.
There were 400 Banaba and Mailbago seedlings distributed to the participants. In starting of the activity, participants scattered through the area and started planting the seedlings. The planting site was located at Davao River- Riverbank Rehabilitation site of Barangay Gumalang. Also, different agencies from the Regional DRRMC XI, Davao City LGU, and barangay officials of Gumalang voluntarily participated in the said activity.
At a later event, CDRRMO Administration and Training Chief, Mr. Lyndon Ancajas conducted a short program for giving importance to the #WeJuanaActivity and delivered his closing remarks.
