On November 8, 2021, The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and the City Government of Davao companions in providing quality service to the public throughout the years. CDRRMO has generated activities in disaster preparedness and prevention mandated by the office to establish the best performance. In that matter, the establishment of the River Camera Project is another breakthrough for advanced innovation approved in guidance to the plans and programs of the City Government of Davao specifically in improving the response to the potential risks in flooding incidents in Davao City.

The goal of the project is to closely monitor the water level of each river in Davao City to easily assess the situation in imminent possible flash floods scenarios. The six river cameras are located in Brgy. Crossing Bayabas – Lipadas River, Brgy. Tugbok Proper-Talomo River, Brgy. Matina Biao- Matina River, Brgy. Tamugan- Davao River, Brgy. Fatima- Bunawan River and Brgy. Panalum- Lasang River.

CDRRMO continuously give efforts to update on the progress of the said project. Thus, the office will continue to execute the best service to the public.
